We've been absent lately because we basically live outside these days. After school we play outside until it gets dark...Maarit insists. We usually have to show her the moon in the sky and the flowers closing to get her to say goodnight and go inside. Neither of us can really complain. We're getting a lot of garden work done early this year. Maarit is a good helper. The local worms have never been loved so much or seen so much of the world. (she's moved on to giving them rides on her bicycle!---video coming soon) And Maarit is a great weeder, although sometimes admittedly she likes to 'weed' the flowers as well. It's been a beautiful spring.Funny little recent behavior I'd like to share. Maarit is starting to get into teasing and playing jokes. She will walk off by herself and slowly kneel down, then lay down on the floor and after a little while she'll start saying "Mommy? Mommy.... Mommy, fall down, pick up! pick up! Kiss, kiss". The first few times I fell for it until Justin was watching her one day and bursted out laughing that she was laying down on the floor and teasing me. Now she will lay down right in front of me and insist that she fell and needs a kiss for 'all better' and then she'll laugh and giggle. Silly little girl.
