We enjoyed a relaxing Påskeaften (Easter Eve) and Påske day after learning that absolutely everything in Stavanger closes down for the Thursday before Easter through the Monday after Easter. It was a bit of a shock to our consumer driven American cores, but once we got over that it was nice to relax and enjoy a quiet family holiday!
We made eggs and colored them with a kit that Grandma brought from the States.
It was a crispy spring morning when Maarit went out to hunt for her eggs.
She found every last one…even the one pretending to be a real egg in a nest.
So proud!
They turned into breakfast and later, delicious deviled eggs!
We hope you all had a happy Easter.
