This post is out of order with Nana's visit; I did not realize that I had not posted them here. These are photos from a trip to the Stavanger Svømmehall (swimming hall). It was the first time swimming for Gus, but this has been Maarit's favorite Stavanger activity this fall and winter. She was excited to take her brother swimming for his first time. Gus enjoyed the warm water, but he was mostly fascinated with the amazing skylights and the rest of the lights in general.
Post swimming pictures, Maarit picks great outfits for herself and Gus:
Gus loves sucking on Daddy's thumb. Whenever Justin holds him looking out, Gus starts looking for his thumb.
Maarit was sick with a fever for several days, but that did not stop her from being her regular artistic self. She rediscovered her face paint markers.
A photo for remembering daily life in Stavanger. This is our #9 Stavanger bound city bus coming through the big roundabout. We decided we must start taking more of these everyday pictures while we have a chance. We are curious how much of living in Norway Maarit will remember.
