May was a busy month for us! We had family and friends visit, lots of parties and cook outs, started getting our garden ready for summer and wrapped up the school year.
However, our little girl probably had one of the biggest months ever. Maarit learned to ride a two wheel bike, had her first dance recital, caught many northern pike while fishing with Daddy, celebrated her Bridging to Brownies for Girl Scouts, started coach pitch baseball and finished first grade all in the month of May! Suddenly she is the biggest girl ever.

Pickle,the baby turtle with a broken leg, came to live with us. He likes shrimp and lettuce and has been the favorite pet this spring.
