Fishing at the Rush

Over Memorial Day weekend we traveled to Wisconsin to camp at my parent's land on the Rush River. Mostly this was to fulfill a fishing trip for Uncle Kurt...he and Bubs and Shanna fished and the rest of us hung out in the hot, hot sun. Here are pictures from the event. Chloe and Hanna and Maarit had a wonderful time together despite both Hanna and Maarit and having pretty bad seasonal allergies and Daddy being awfully sick from allergies himself. Karhu got to come, for which she was unbelievably grateful. She feels pretty neglected regarding going on trips with us since Maarit was born.

I don't know, but I would say those two are made for each other.

Maarit is very much looking forward to our upcoming trip to Itasca with cousins Chloe and Hanna and her nana and papa on Justin's side. We hope for good weather, it has done nothing but rain here for days. Maarit has now visited most libraries near by and is all signed up for the summer reading program. There has also been alot of hide-and-seek playing at our house. Her playing this game is hilarious because she doesn't hide, she lays down and covers her eyes. If you say " Is Maarit in the closet...?" she'll yell from where-ever she is.."No, in here!" So very much fun. =)
