This week was Justin's first week back to work since Gus was born. It was sad to see him and Maarit off to school each morning, but our days have gone by fast and it does not seem like too long until they are back from their school day and with us again. Maarit is always so excited to see her brother when she comes home. She loves on him as much as she can and as often as she can. She so very much enjoys being a big sister.
Gus is growing very well, he is now 3.19 kilos, which is just a shade under 7 pounds. He has gained weight very nicely, we are so glad. He is getting through his first big growth spurt and we can tell that he is much bigger already!

This is a picture of Gus' first playdate with the babies who were born to our school staff this school year. There were 7 staff pregnant last late spring and this fall. Gus is the youngest so far, there is one more baby yet to be born.
