Lemons, Little Things and Lambs

We are still enjoying the sunshine, although we have seen a few gray days and the forecast for this next week is typical Norway weather. ....Rain and wind.  Oh well, it has been something like 5 weeks of sunshine, I suppose we have had more than our share.

Maarit was adamant that I take a picture of her eating this lemon...she has decided that she loves to eat lemons with a spoon. But after eating one she says that her teeth hurt.

These are the sweet little shoes that Gus has just recently grown out of.

This past Friday, Maarit's class had a dress up part. She wore a princess costume. When she came home she had lots of hugs for Gus and Daddy.

Gus was given this outfit at his baby shower this fall. I love the 'bear bottom' flap.  He is holding his head up very well these days. He is studying his animal box in this picture, he loves all the colors and shapes on this box.

We have been waiting and waiting for the Viking sheep to have their lambs this spring. It has been sunny, but cold and the lambs were quite late this year.  We wandered up that way yesterday with Aaron and Annemieke.  We were so excited to find that some of the baby lambs have arrived.

Aaron and Anne helped Maarit plant a garden box before we walked up to the sheep. She was so excited to plant flowers.

The sheep were interested in Gus' stroller and they mobbed Maarit, she brought waffles for them.

We are excited to keep checking on the lambs and see how many more are born in the next week or two.  Hopefully the rain and wind will not last too long.
