We are lucky to have an easy-going and happy little man. Gus is growing and getting more fun each day. He is now working on rolling over and he is starting to get really close on his back to tummy roll. He can execute a tummy to back roll fairly well, but he's gotten to liking tummy time again so he rarely does it. When he is on his tummy his newest thrill is to scoot. He does this when he's on his back too. He plants his feet and launches his bum into the air and scoots over. He can get around in a circle pretty quickly! However it is never fast enough for him so there is lots of grunting and 'yelling' about it. I don't remember Maarit ever being this desperate to move.
Gus thinks Maarit is about the most interesting creature on the planet. He loves to do anything she is doing and he will coo and 'sing' to her when she's nearby. Here they are sharing a Curious George moment together. Gus watches for about 2 seconds, but he loves to sit by her no matter what she is doing.
We've had a lot of fun recording Gus singing and laughing lately. He sits and sings for ages, especially first thing in the morning when he wakes up. His singing videos will not upload to blogger for some reason, but here he is Giggling at Daddy. Such a sweet sound.
