Yesterday Maarit enjoyed a trip to the park, it was a beautiful sunny day. She had fun sliding and swinging with her Daddy. Here are some highlights:
And, as all little ones do, she had to explore her environment by tasting it! Here she is just after she dove face first, mouth open and took a huge bite of sand. I am not sure what she was expecting , but this was obviously not it. She cried a little....then really enjoyed playing in the sand with her fingers and toes. She had sand everywhere because Daddy even buried her legs and feet a little bit. She loved the sand, but she didn't try to eat any more the rest of the day!
