Earlier in March, the Preschool 3 and 3/4 classes held a Nursery Rhyme Assembly. This year Maarit was Mary who had a little lamb. She was shy about being on stage this time, although during her performance she did an excellent job singing all the songs and playing her part.
The week leading up to the show, Maarit performed for us the entire assembly while standing on her stool in the middle of the living room. It was fun to hear her sing all the songs and say all the lines. She certainly enjoys putting on performances for her family.

Before the show I took this picture of Maarit with her best classmate, Nora. These two little girls are inseparable.
Gus mostly enjoyed the music and the funky lights in the theater.
After the show Maarit was proud to show off her brother for the post assembly party.
